Our goal is to increase academic success by improving school attendance. We will decrease the number of students attending less than 80% each week by 2%. We will know if we met our goal by comparing this years to the previous years percentage. By increasing the number of students attending consistently we will increase the number of students receiving passing grades and earning credit.

We will record the percentage of students who do not meet the required 80% attendance each week. We will compare this percentage to the previous year's corresponding week percentage and record the difference. We can then average the differences to determine if we have truly improved attendance and met our 2% goal. In addition, we will compare the number of failing grades, and expect to see this number decrease as our attendance improves.

Our attendance Para will start by greeting students as they arrive. She will track every students' attendance each week, and contact the students as well as parents each day the student is absent. She will provide timely rewards for good attendance and monitor improvements as well as declines by individual students. She will provide accurate data to be used for rewarding good attendance and ultimately to measure success.

Increase graduation rate to 68% (see the CSI plan above).
